Even if Italy comes into this match wanting a win, they only NEED a draw. If we are to win it, we have to strike relatively early, and force them to attack and open things up. As for the formation, I really do think two men forward is the best choice for a chance at an early goal and a realistic chance at a win. If a draw would do, I'd be all for a 4-1-4-1, but I don't trust Ukraine to beat France. I really don’t think we win if it gets down to the last ten minutes without a goal. He might not pull it off in an everton shirt but when we need him hes there. Boyd will be out and Fletcher will be in and he will slot into the midfield beside Ferguson and Hartley as a holding defensive midfielder sitting in front of the defenders and just behind the midfield.... up front however will be a toughie - he will likely go for McFadden up front and at a later stage bring on Miller for one of the midfielders (in the second half) - we just need one goal... and if we draw then we still have a chance - if the french get beat by ukraine over in the ukraine then we will go through - but I'm gunning for a Scotland victory 2-1....
