blogger inspires club to victory!
By: j | October 18th, 2008Well not quite but what a great start for a new blog as Aberdeen went out and stopped a four-match losing skid with a rousing 1-0 victory over Falkirk. Please drop by the Dons new home and hear all about this weeks success.
Elsewhere in the SPL Inverness Caley Thistle fought valiantly in losing 2-1 to top of the table Celtic. Please stop by both blogs for their review of this hard-nosed match.
Billy Reid’s Hamilton Accies have had a tough time of late and fell 2-1 to an inspired St Mirren. After a flying start the Accies have dropped four straight matches and find themselves only two points from the bottom of the table. Billy Mehmet scored the winning goal four minutes before the break and St. Mirren won their second straight match after last weeks shocker against the Gers.
Motherwell was gutted today with Craig Bryson scoring the matches lone goal as time was running out to give Jim Jefferies Kilmarnock the 1-nil victory. Motherwell seemed destined to earn the draw after playing the final twenty-five minutes one man down with Paul Quinn red-carded. However as time was winding down a Mehdi Taouil freekick hit the Motherwell wall and Craig Bryson pounced on the rebound to send it to the back of the net and give the home fans something to cheer about.
Don’t forget tomorrow Hibernian welcomes Hearts and the Hibs loyal supporters have a special surprise for Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov.
