From Bondai to Boghead?
By: Craig | November 1st, 2006
Thuggish Stranraer strikers are not the only ones seeking solar respite from the travails of Scottish football. Linked with a swift return to Dunfermline earlier in the week, Craig Brewster could be looking further afield than across the Tay and apparently old side Ionikos are looking to take him back to Greece as head coach.
Pars chairman John Yorkston said today that Dunfermline will take their time in pinpointing Jim Leishman’s successor and, if some of today’s headlines are to be believed, you can understand why. Ex-Rangers midfield general Ian Ferguson, who spent his last days in Scotland at the Fife club, is being touted as a front-runner. Currently coaching in the land of Oz, it’d take Yorkston at least 48 hours to get him to the negotiating table.
