Good Weekend/Bad Weekend
By: Craig | January 15th, 2007
Good weekend for…
Steven Pressley - Elvis’ former devotees turned deviant, welcoming him onto the pitch and proceeding to boo him from the first kick onwards. He promptly shut them up with a solid performance in a great match.
Barry Ferguson - Walter Smith’s come up with a novel way to restore order at Ibrox…by rewarding the rabble-rouser!
Steve Lovell - Saved the Dons’ blushes in a stinker with the last kick of the ball. Dreams of Europe remain.
Bad weekend for…
Title races - Gretna and Morton’s title rivals decided not to bother on Saturday, meaning Parkhead won’t be the only empty ground in Scotland come April. The Third Division’s tight as a drum, mind.
Eighty-minuters - Y’know, the ones that get away as things are ‘winding down’ to avoid the traffic. Ibrox aside, all the SPL’s results were decided in the last ten minutes.

Any thoughts about the SFA not yet contacting Alex McLeish for the managerial position of the national team?
