Good Weekend/Bad Weekend

goodbad22.jpgGood weekend for…

Rangers – The Gers will be happy to have surrendered second place for a performance that shows they can at least give the champions a game.

The crowd at Inverness-KillieSeven goals, top-drawer saves, penalty incidents galore…how this stayed goalless after 68 minutes is anyone’s guess.

Craig Brewster – He just turned 40 and rumour has it he’s marked his two-score with a playing contract at Aberdeen. Must have been really desperate to get back in the dugout.

Bad weekend for…

Maurice Malpas – You dominate the first-half, you get an opposing player sent off on 30 minutes…and you go in at half-time 2-0 down. Something ain’t right.

Paul Le Guen – Inevitably, something had to get in the way of a decent week on the pitch for PLG and it proved to be this boomerang from Captain Bazza. Don’t mess.

Andy McLaren – The Dundee winger managed the seemingly impossible feat of picking up three reds in a single game. Apparently his manager’s a wee bit miffed. Anyone know if that’s a record? Your comments please.
