Last No. 1 for Elvis?

By: Craig | November 14th, 2006

pressleyhartley.jpgI’ve not even been part of this motley rabble for a month and I’m beginning to think it really is high time someone got a Hearts blog all to themselves. Here’s today’s news.

Vladimir Romanov continues to do it his way. When Steven Pressley gave the Scottish media their back-page lead on a plate last month, it was a shock to see him lead the Jambos out the next day against Dunfermline. But three games later, just as the story was starting to gather dust, the Great Dictator slammed his fist down. The Scotland defender walked out on last night’s trip to Falkirk - he wouldn’t be the first - after learning he was stripped of the armband. Paul Hartley only made the bench.

So, any takers?
