Martin Kettle needs to get a life

Ahh, the Guardian. You guys need to be pickier with your columnist hiring. Read on as Martin Kettle explains why we (meaning everyone that visits this site, and the huge chunk of humanity that either plays or watches football) are complete idiots. This is why I don’t like golf – it’s a fine sport – hell, we invented it – but it has a tendency to attract snobs. Interesting that he mentions golf snobbery. Martin – pick up a mirror sometime, pal. That’s what a golf snob looks like. How can someone call themselves a fan (a Leeds United fan, no less) and then say the sport has become unwatchable? It has it’s problems, but its certainly more the sport of the people than golf will ever be.

  haha. alright, when i see shoeless kids playing pickup golf with clubs made of sticks and homemade balls i’ll concede, but foul-mouths aside football is so _natural_ to us… that’s why it’s the beautiful game.
