Nakamura has what could be described as a good day

By: Ian Rose | April 22nd, 2007

Those of us that were not gifted with the skill and talent to play world-class football can only imagine the sort of 24 hours that Shunsuke Nakamura has had. The Celtic midfielder, one of the best direct free kick men in Europe this season, started off his day by sinking yet another free kick goal in the 90th minute to seal the SPL championship for his side. He then got cleaned up, put on a nice suit and headed over to the Scottish Professional Footballers Association awards, where all he did was win Player of the Year, and Goal of the Year (for a great lob against Dundee United late last year). Not too shabby, Naka, not too shabby at all.
