Niculae in for Saturday - Thank you, readers
By: Ian Rose | August 9th, 2007Thanks to all the readers that let me know about signing the petition to allow Marius Niculae his work permit for Caley Thistle. I have no idea if this had any effect other than making me feel good about myself, but the permit has nevertheless made it through, and Super Marius is set to play in Caley’s Saturday match at Motherwell. Whether or not it had any bearing on the case, which should really never have been an issue at all, I appreciate the efforts of the ten or so readers that informed me when they signed, and any others that didn’t.
In other news today:
- Zeta under investigation for racist chants (ironically, against Rangers).
- Hibs headed to Hampden to start their league cup defense.
- Speaking of racism, Garry O’Connor warns Celtic they might be in for some trouble in Moscow.
