No more heroes to Villans…for now.

bobo.jpgAs stadium re-naming rumours abound amongst worried Aston Villa fans, surely a reasonable candidate must be New Celtic Park? Having already snapped up Stilian Petrov, Didier Agathe and Chris Sutton for his new club, Martin O’Neill sure isn’t wasting his time in turning one half of Birmingham green and white.

Some, however, are plumping for the lesser of two evils - staying in Glasgow.

Bobo Balde insists he’s not terrorised enough Rangers strikers quite yet. And Scotland’s Player of the Year, Shaun Maloney, is being warned off following his team-mates south by Petrov and another former Hoops favourite. Nevertheless, the midfielder has yet to put pen to paper and, with the Celts’ contract stinginess once again a talking point, it can’t be long before the Villans come knocking…
