Scottish Cup fourth round draw

The draw has been made for the fourth round of the Scottish Cup, and there are some interesting matchups. My boys at Caley Thistle got maybe the toughest draw of any SPL team, away at Hibernian. Oh well. Both Celtic and Rangers have pretty pedestrian home ties that they should handle well. Gretna v. Morton might be an interesting one. With Gretna struggling at the bottom of the SPL and Morton close to the top of the First Division, these are two teams that might just swap places next season. Though, my promotion favorite still has to be Hamilton. Those Accies will play either Brechin or The Mighty Fifers, who continue to rip through the Third Division. Other than the three all-SPL matches, the SPL team that looks most likely to drop out here has got to be Gretna. St. Mirren aren’t on the best form, but they should be enough for the second-worst team in all of Scottish league football, Dumbarton. Hibs at home is a rough draw for Caley Thistle, but after the cake-walk draw we got in the League Cup, I suppose we’re due.
